Abstract:In order to study the influence of surface micro texture morphology parameters on lubrication performance under fluid lubrication conditions,a single texture 3D calculation model with cavitation effect was established.CFD method was used to simulate the change of oil film bearing capacity, friction coefficient and pressure distribution under different texture depth, area density and dimple shape. The results show that with the increase of texture depth (area density),the bearing capacity of oil film is first increased and then decreased, and the friction coefficient is first decreased and then increased, that is,the texture has the optimal depth and area density, which makes the hydrodynamic lubrication performance optimal. With the increase of the slip velocity of the upper wall, the optimal depth of the texture tends to decrease while the optimal area density tends to stabilize. The surface shape of texture with confluence can improve the bearing capacity of oil film, and the higher the speed, the more obvious the effect of improving lubrication.
