Abstract:By establishing a twodimensional ABAQUS model of a selftightening static seal ring,using control variables,the influence of main structural parameters,such as sidewall thickness,bottom wall thickness and boss radius on maximum Mises stress and maximum displacement,compression rebound rate of the selftightening static seal ring were studied,and the optimal value range of each parameter of the selftightening open static sealing ring was obtained.The results show that the thickness of the side wall has a great influence on the maximum displacement and the maximum Mises stress,and the thickness of the bottom wall and the inclination angle have a significant effect on the rebound rate of the seal ring.In view of the shortcomings of the metal sealing ring is not easy to compress,the pretightening force is large,and the fatigue and leakage is easy to appear under the vibration condition,the optimized design was carried out on the basis of the existing metal U-shaped ring and metal V-shaped ring,and the optimized result was verified by test.The results show that the stress intensity of the rotary joint between the side wall and the bottom wall of the optimized sealing ring decreases obviously,and the stress distribution on the sealing ring is more uniform.Under the same compression,the displacement value of the optimized seal ring is smaller,which is more conducive to prevent the leakage of the seal structure.
