Abstract:The water lubrication rubber bearing was made with nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) as matrix.The influences of some factors on the friction and wear properties of rubber bearings were studied at water lubricating medium,including carbon black and molybdenum disulfide additives,rotating speed,lubricating medium and NBR varieties.The results show that the friction coefficient and wear loss of rubber bearings are significantly affected by the content of carbon black and molybdenum disulfide.The friction coefficient and wear loss of rubber bearings are firstly increased,and then decreased,last increased with the increasing of load,and decreased with the increasing of rotating speed.Moreover the values of these two parameters in seawater are higher than that in water.
