Abstract:The characteristics of tool wear and the correlation between different processing parameters and the abrasion area were analyzed through the CVD titanium nitride coated cutting tool processing experiments.The results show that the wear characteristics of the CVD tool are the coating stripping in the wear area of cutting edge,the occurrence of collapse and mechanical furrows phenomenon in edge area of tool when cutting natural marble.Cutting depth,spindle speed and tool wear area are significant correlation,and the spindle speed has larger correlation.The optimal parameter combination obtained by experiments is that the spindle speed of the tool is 12 000 r/min,the feed speed is 1 750 mm/min,the cutting depth is 1 mm.
