In order to solve the problem of severe vibration and noise when the segment assembly machine runs to horizontal or vertical position in the process of assembly,the movement mechanism of the segment assembly machine was analyzed and studied.The corresponding kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis was carried out by ADAMS,and the force of key components in the motion process was obtained.According to the simulation results,it is concluded that there are two possible reasons for the occurrence of vibration and noise in the horizontal and vertical positions of the segment assembly machine,which are the excessive friction caused by insufficient machining accuracy and the collision of contact surfaces with relatively large contact stress due to gap.A solution was proposed to reduce contact stress between the contact surfaces by adding metal rubber coating to the gap.The result of ADAMS simulation shows that the solution can reduce contact stress and effectively eliminate vibration and noise.
