    含磷抗磨添加剂的聚亚烷基乙二醇(PAG)型齿轮油被广泛应用于工业齿轮箱中,由于其强吸水性导致油中水分含量经常偏高,威胁设备的正常运行。为研究水分含量对含磷酸三苯酯PAG型齿轮油性能的影响,配制水分质量分数为0~5%的油样,并对其进行理化性能和摩擦学性能测试;对不同油样润滑下的钢球磨斑进行表征分析,并建立水分子、磷酸三苯酯和PAG分子三者相互作用的抗磨机制模型。研究发现,水分质量分数在5%及以下时,油样的理化性能除黏度以外无明显变化;然而当水分质量分数大于2%时,油样的抗磨性能会大幅度下降,这是因为水分过高会导致流体层逐渐扩大,水合PAG分子膜越来越薄,造成PAG型齿轮油整体润滑性能显著下降。

    Abstract:

    Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) gear oil containing phosphorus anti-wear additives is widely used in industrial gear boxes.Due to its strong water absorption,the water content in the oil is often high,which threatens the normal operation of the equipment.In order to study the effect of water content on the properties of PAG gear oil containing triphenyl phosphate,the oil samples with water mass fraction ranging from 0 to 5% were prepared,and the physicochemical properties and tribological performances tests were carried out.The wear scars of steel balls lubricated with different oil samples were characterized and analyzed.The anti-wear mechanism model of interaction among water molecules,triphenyl phosphate,and PAG molecules was established.It is found that the physicochemical properties of oil samples have no obvious change except viscosity when the water mass fraction is 5% or less.However,when the water mass fraction is greater than 2%,the anti-wear performance of the oil sample decreases greatly.This is because excessive water can lead to the gradual expansion of the fluid layer,and the hydrated PAG molecular film will become thinner and thinner,resulting in a significant decline in the overall lubrication performance of PAG gear oil.
