By simulating the static and dynamic working conditions of the areoengine,experimental investigation on leakage characteristics of low hysteresis brush seals was carried out,and the influence on leakage characteristics of low hysteresis brush seals by rotational speed,Inlet and outlet pressure difference of seal and temperature was investigated.Through experimental contrast of common and low hysteresis brush seals,the hysteresis phenomena of common brush seals were investigated,and endurance test for the low hysteresis brush seals was carried out.The testing results show that the low hysteresis brush seal has advantages of excellent sealing performance.The bristles almost fully recover after any runner excursion or growth throughout the dynamic test.The low hysteresis brush seals have potential for long life application with excellent sealing performance.
